Thinking Like A Beekeeper Course
This class is run by Don Fowler and Heather Klassen. Classes are small and hands on with a focus on the science of beekeeping. Classes are once a week starting in February. For more information, contact Don at pinebug@gmail.com
Located in Comox Valley on Vancouver Island. Home Grown Bee has a variety of courses both online and in person focusing on everything from beekeeping 101 to hive tours and mite treatments. Home Grown Bee is also a great spot to source beekeeping equipment, learn more about other pollinators such as mason bees and to chat with beekeeper Rachel, who is always happy to talk bees!

The Government of British Columbia offers an introductory beekeeping course.
This course is offered for free and is open to anyone. It covers a full range of topics related to bee biology, beekeeping management, disease diagnosis and controls. Click here for more information.
