Who Are We?

Oceanside Hive is a local community group, located in Coombs, BC.

We are dedicated to the study, science and art of raising healthy and productive honey bee colonies. We willingly share knowledge through classes, discussion, experiences and hands-on practical training.

We value our priceless environment and promote habitat suitable to native pollinators and honey bees alike.

A big thank you to Laura Ingram, our regional bee inspector, for joining us last month! It was such a pleasure to ask questions, learn from your experience and knowledge, and receive important updates on mite treatments.

Registering your honey bee hive with the Government of British Columbia is so important because it helps protect the health of bee populations across the province.
